I have a holistic approach to therapy that starts with establishing a safe environment of unconditional acceptance, without judgment. Each person is unique and I believe it is my responsibility to earn your trust to help you find the hope and strength in accomplishing your specific goals.
Building on a your existing strengths, I combine client centered, psychodynamic, dialectical behavior, ego state and cognitive-behavioral therapies while integrating EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) when appropriate. I believe that people relate to others and situations based on past encounters. If we want to change our “today”, we need to understand our patterns, core beliefs and heal from our past experiences.
