DDS/DARS
At Oakwood Counseling, we are committed to providing specialized support and services to clients referred by the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) and the Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services (DARS). Psychological Testing/Evaluation
Our psychologists offer a number of evaluations for clients from the DARS Division of Disability Determination Services. These evaluations include: General Diagnostic Battery, Learning Diagnostic Battery, Mental Status Exam, Mental Status Exam with IQ Assessment, and Full Battery. These evaluations are scheduled with our office through DDS & DARS. If you have an appointment scheduled with us through these departments, please call us at 979-229-7636 to confirm your appointment, and in the event that you need to change or cancel your appointment, please contact your examiner. The testing can take 1-4 hours, depending on the assessment, and your completed report is sent to the department within 2-3 weeks. If you have any further questions, feel free to contact us.
