My Philosophy

Every day, my goal is to connect with my clients, providing treatment that helps them reach their personal goals through education and empowerment in an environment that is warm and supportive.  My therapeutic approach is holistic and client-centered.  I want my clients to grow not only in understanding their experiences but also in learning how to change patterns of thought and behavior. Our sessions will include some deep thinking and belly laughs.  Humor is so good for the soul.  I spend my days helping individuals, couples, and whole families find their joy.

I have lived and worked in the Brazos Valley for over twenty years.  I worked in the schools as an educator here for ten years, which makes me not only a therapist but also a passionate advocate for the students and parents I serve. I have worked as a therapist in nonprofit agency settings, school settings, and private practice settings in rural Kansas, the Houston area, and Bryan/College Station, respectively, for a combined six years.  Bryan/College Station has been such a wonderful community in which to raise kids and serve.  I am passionate about connecting my clients with the activities and resources to enrich their lives.
